Moab is home to beautiful vistas and tons of opportunities for outdoor activities. Tourism thrives in and around Moab, Utah. The national parks draw huge crowds and have some of the best sites in Utah. People come from all over the world to see the national parks in Moab.

There are two primary national parks close to Moab. The first is Arches National Park where there are too man arches to count. Arches does sometimes get crowed during the busiest times of year so plan accordingly. There are a ton of hiking trails and plenty of sightseeing to be done in Arches national park.

The second park is Canyonlands National Park. Canyonlands National park is divided up into three districts. The most accessible is Island in the Sky. If you're up for a drive the needles district should be added to your list to visit. The needles district is has more rugged trails including many off-road trails. There are thousands of miles and hiking, tons of camping, and some biking available in Canyonlands.

Admission fees are charged for the parks and permits are required for certain activities so make sure to read up on their sights or drop in to their visitor centers to get all of the required information and always make sure to take enough water with you when venturing out into the Moab desert.
